Artisan Yellow Ombre is a great plant for anyone wanting vibrant color all season long in their perennial garden, or to use as a cut flower. This is the first F1 hybrid echinacea series that comes in individual colors. This winner, with an intense golden yellow bloom along with graduated colors of yellow, is a gem in the garden. AAS Judges were impressed with the uniform growth habit, vibrantly colored flowers, and multi-branched plants that produce a prolific number of blooms. Pollinators will flock to this echinacea, and gardeners will love this low-maintenance, long-blooming beauty. Hardy in zones 4a to 10b.

Artisan Yellow Ombre is one of the best coneflowers of any type I’ve grown and easily the best of the “warm-colored” (gold, red, orange) varieties. Plants are heavy bloomers, color is a rich gold, the blooms are long-lasting (almost three months in my garden), and best of all, the deer didn’t eat them like so many other of my perennials.
This winter, I tried starting Yellow Ombre from seed as well and now have three healthy, blooming first-year plants as of September. I’m hoping the longevity of this variety is equally impressive.

Great vigor and fragrant!!! Grows quickly from seed maturing and filling out a one gallon pot in a few months.
