The fourth addition to the popular Chef’s Choice tomato series is Chef’s Choice Yellow which produces hearty beefsteak type tomatoes in a beautiful yellow color. Tomato lovers and culinary gardeners will fall for this large meaty delicacy that has a sweet, citrus-like flavor with just the right amount of acid and the perfect tomato texture. AAS Judges raved about the quantity of the 10-ounce fruits that each 5-foot indeterminate vines produced. You’ll enjoy harvesting 30 or more fruits throughout the season from this disease (Fusarium Wilt, Verticillium wilt, Tomato Mosiac Virus, Crack, and Scab) resistant plant with dark green leaves and well-behaved form. HOW TO GROW

Sow seeds for transplant about 5 weeks before setting out in frost free garden setting. Transplant in a sunny location in 5-foot rows with a 15-18 inch spacing. These large 5-foot vines are indeterminate and require staking. But the staking effort is well worth the reward of 30 plus beautiful yellow beefsteak tomatoes. Harvest the boat-shaped fruit when the reach a deep yellow color, but are still slightly firm to the touch. Enjoy fresh or cooked in soups and sauces.
