Zinnia Profusion Cherry

1999 AAS Flower Winner

Single cherry rose blooms are borne just above the dark green foliage. The flowers can be cut and used in informal arrangements. The plants will produce more flowers if cut and will reward you with flowers all summer long. Heat and drought tolerant. Easy to grow from seed or bedding plants.

A breeding breakthrough worthy of an AAS Gold Medal. An interspecific cross between two zinnia species with significant improvements in earliness to bloom, continuous flower productions, and tolerance to diseases such as powdery mildew and bacterial leaf spot.

Profusion Cherry is also a recipient of the Fleuroselect Gold Medal award for performance in European trials.
