Clark Botanic Garden is another garden that found its grounds were a respite from the COVID craziness for their visitors this past summer. Although they were not able to open to the public until the end of May, they were still able to plant all the AAS Winners at the entrance to their garden, including attractive edible winners. The community gardens at Clark were not able to be used by the public, instead, those spaces were used by garden staff to plant the AAS Winning vegetables. The produce was donated to a local food kitchen that fed families in need, which were higher in number than in normal years due to the pandemic.
