Amalia Dominguez is R&D manager and grower at Costa Farms in Miami. She began her career in Argentina, where she was born and raised. She is currently an annual grower and is conducting breeding and production trials in her area. Propagating seed material or URC to finish growing in containers or trial beds, she joins AAS as a judge for in ground trials at the Miami site, which is ideal for evaluating heat tolerance, disease tolerance and pest susceptibility.
