Dana Freeman is the Horticulture Program Coordinator for Nebraska Extension in Douglas-Sarpy Counties. She leads the largest group of Extension Master Gardeners in the state and loves working with an awesome group of volunteers. Dana enjoys identifying plant and pest problems for the public and answering their wide variety of lawn and gardening questions. She is also passionate about gardening with children and engaging the next generation of environmental stewards. Dana began assisting Scott Evans and John Porter with AAS Ornamental & Edible trials in 2018 and became the Edible judge in 2024.
