Fantastico is a must for any market grower or home gardener looking for an early-maturing, high-yielding grape tomato with built-in Late Blight Tolerance. Bred for small gardens, determinate Fantastico will work great in hanging baskets, container gardens as well as in small gardens. Long clusters of sweet tasty fruits are held toward the outside of the plant, making them very easy to harvest but if you let them go a few days past peak, these little beauties resist cracking better than the comparisons used in the AAS trials.

Germination temperature for seeds is 65-72°F with transplanting into a 4-inch pot or equivalent after 10-14 days. Grow on in a well-lit frost-free location and plant out after four or five weeks or just as the first flowers are opening. Plant in a sunny location in well-worked soil and provide some support such as a standard tomato cage. Alternatively place one plant in an 18-inch hanging basket or a 10-gallon patio container. Feed and water regularly, remembering to ensure adequate levels of Potassium, Magnesium and Iron in the fertilizer mix.

These Fantasticos are fantastic. I grew them in 5-gallon buckets and they did fine. Very compact plant with loads of fruit. Earliest to set fruit and ripen in PA zone 6B, compared to other determinate varieties. Classic cherry tomato taste.
