Ella graduated in 2023 with a degree in Environmental Science from the University of Minnesota – Morris. She worked for the Conservation Corps during the summer of 2023 out of Duluth, MN. She began her career in horticulture shortly after that term as the horticulture researcher at the West Central Research and Outreach Center in Morris, MN. Her responsibilities are centered around conducting and evaluating trials for annuals, perennials, shrubs, and vegetables. The WCROC’s horticulture facilities consist of two greenhouses, a four-acre public display garden, three deer exclosures on site, and a high tunnel.
