Jake Haynes is the Horticulture Agent at the NCSU Catawba County Cooperative Extension. With a Master’s in Plant Biology from NC State University (2019) and a lifelong love of gardening, Jake brings a strong foundation in classical botany, taxonomy, and plant identification. Jake is dedicated to making plant science and horticulture accessible and helping Catawba County residents thrive in all their horticultural endeavors.
