I first planted these in ’21, they grew and grew into massive plants with very few blooms. Being day length sensitive, I realized this variety did not perform well under my very long hours of northern summer daylight. Last year, I sowed them a month earlier, it was March 15 th., the first buds were setting upon them at plant out time …. well, well, they then had flowered heavily and continued looking great even into the middle of October when frost had claimed them, an impressive TALL marigold!
