2018 Food Trends to Grow in Your Garden

Grow Foodie Trends in Your Garden with AAS Winners - Grow All-America Winners and know that your garden will grow! #garden #vegetablegardening #foodtrends

We are often asked to speak about food and gardening trends to Master Gardeners and home gardeners and it just happens to be one of our favorite topics. Sometimes, depending on the group, we might even call it “Snob Factor” gardening because who doesn’t like to impress their guests with a unique vegetable or fruit grown in their own garden?!

Here are some food trends, as defined by some of the leading food publications and a few AAS Winners that go along with those trends:

I’m looking forward to growing Midnight Snack tomato again. They were so tasty last year we didn’t share them though – we kept them all to ourselves! The indigo coloring makes them a real looker too.

Shishito peppers! Dragon Roll is very easy to grow and you get plenty of fruit for an entertaining appetizer.
